Our client needed assistance with audit and due diligence work, pre-acquisition. This was a sticky acquisition as the City of San Diego would be directly involved in the approval process.
Client needed an active CPA to act as Controller and audit support, along with hiring two clerks for processing work. A detailed operational audit was performed and discrepancies submitted to the board of the acquiring company. TSG’s project consultant spent one year assisting with both pre and post-acquisition activities. Both clerks created a more robust workflow for handling AR and AP.
Due to the extended nature of Municipal approvals, this project–which was slated for one year–has taken 16 months and multiple project professionals to finalize the efforts. Client is extremely satisfied with TSG’s work and continues to be an active client.
