A $600 million dollar distribution company located in the Midwest was acquiring a $500 million dollar company in San Diego. The acquiring company was acutely aware that post acquisition, there would be some redundancies and restricting of internal staff in San Diego. There was going to be a need to upgrade talent while restricting positions.
TSG’s affiliate office, located in the Midwest, had strong ties to the acquiring company and bridged the initial communication. After establishing the strategy to move forward, it was understood that this client would need five contractors immediately. Three of the contractors needed to be CPA-level and the other two were mid-level openings. The true challenge here was the recent turnover due to the acquisition and the client wanted to start all new hires as project- to direct-hire placements.
TSG filled all five openings within one month and each candidate subsequently converted to full-time employment. At both a local and corporate level, the client was pleased and continues a working relationship with TSG today.
